Terms of Service
Last updated: 3 September 2026
1. About OneCourtyard and these Terms
OneCourtyard and its associated society-administration and resident applications (together, “OneCourtyard” or the “Platform”) are developed, operated and owned by Dentra Connect (“Dentra Connect”, “we”, “us” or “our”). By accessing or using the Platform you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
2. What OneCourtyard provides
OneCourtyard is a technology platform for housing societies, apartment associations and similar residential communities in India. It enables society committees to manage units and members, raise maintenance and other charges, record and reconcile payments, track expenses, generate receipts and reports, and send payment reminders; and enables residents to view their dues, make payments and download receipts. Dentra Connect provides the software platform only. The society (through its committee or management) remains solely responsible for its own affairs, including the charges it raises, the amounts it collects, its accounts, and its compliance with the bye-laws and laws applicable to it.
3. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Committee and administrator accounts may be used only by persons authorised by the society. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your login credentials and one-time passwords confidential, and for all activity under your account.
4. Maintenance payments
Maintenance and other society payments made through the Platform’s UPI facility are made directly to the society’s own bank account using the UPI ID configured by the society. Dentra Connect is not a party to these payments, does not hold or handle these funds at any time, and acts only as a technology provider that records payment information submitted by residents and verified by the society. Where a society enables an online payment gateway, those payments are processed by the relevant licensed payment aggregator on the society’s behalf, subject to that provider’s terms. Disputes about charges, dues, credits or refunds are between the resident and the society.
5. Society subscriptions
Societies may subscribe to paid plans for the Platform. Subscription fees are stated on the billing page, are charged in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive or exclusive of GST as indicated at checkout. Subscription payments are processed by our payment partner; Dentra Connect does not store full card details. Subscription, refund and cancellation terms are as described at the time of purchase. Residents use the Platform free of charge unless otherwise stated.
6. Communications
By using the Platform you consent to receive service communications relating to your society — such as dues notices, payment reminders, receipts, invitations and one-time passwords — via SMS, WhatsApp, email or in-app notification. Payment reminders can be turned off from your profile; essential service messages (such as receipts and login codes) cannot. Messages are sent through registered telecom channels in accordance with TRAI regulations.
7. Societies and committees
Societies using the Platform confirm that their committee members and administrators are duly authorised to act for the society, including to raise charges, record and verify payments, and issue receipts. The society is responsible for the accuracy of the records it creates on the Platform, for reconciling payments against its bank account before verifying them, and for its statutory accounting, audit and filing obligations. Dentra Connect does not audit, supervise or certify any society’s accounts.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Platform, including by attempting to access data you are not authorised to access, disrupting the service, reverse-engineering it, scraping it, submitting false payment claims or false information, or using it for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend or terminate access that violates these Terms.
9. Intellectual property
The Platform, including its software, design, branding and content, is owned by Dentra Connect and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. The “OneCourtyard” name and logo are marks of Dentra Connect. No rights are granted to you except the limited right to use the Platform in accordance with these Terms. Data entered by a society or its residents belongs to them.
10. Privacy
We process personal data in accordance with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act). We collect only the information needed to operate the Platform — such as names, phone numbers, unit details, dues and payment records — and use it solely to provide the service to your society. Dentra Connect will never sell, rent or trade your personal data to anyone. For full details see our Privacy Policy.
11. Account closure and termination
You may stop using the Platform at any time. Residents may ask their society to deactivate their account; societies may close their subscription by contacting us. On closure we delete or anonymise personal data, except records the society is required to retain under applicable law (such as its financial records, which belong to the society). We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms; where practical, we will give notice and an opportunity to remedy the breach first.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dentra Connect is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for the acts or omissions of any society, its committee, its residents, or any payment provider. Our total aggregate liability for all claims arising out of or relating to the Platform is limited to the amounts the relevant society has paid to Dentra Connect in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Dentra Connect against claims, losses and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Platform, or — for societies — the society’s management of its own affairs, charges and funds.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the Platform or by email. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
15. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising out of or in connection with them.
16. Severability and waiver
If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force. A failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
